Joaquim Segalés is a researcher at IRTA-CReSA Centre de Recerca en Sanitat Animal, one of our project partners. His team’s expertise in zoonotic coronaviruses motivated them to become part of our project. Within the project, they are focused on developing an animal model that mimics the clinical symptoms commonly seen in individuals affected by long COVID.
